Why become one brand?

The service alignment for our collective customers makes us better, together.

Nederveld is known for its multiple service offerings, large coverage area, and doing great work with outstanding service.  OEC Forensics is recognized for being outstanding within the collision analysis field.  Bringing these two companies together provides credibility and new business opportunities to the current service areas of each firm today, and beyond.

Together, we are excited to expand our collective services into new markets.

OEC Forensics was established in 2000 by its principle engineer, Jerry S. Ogden, Ph.D., P.E.  While serving as a Regular Army Armored Cavalry Officer in the United States Army during the 1980’s and early 1990’s, Dr. Ogden had his first experiences with collision analysis as a Line of Duty Investigations Officer. Since his discharge from active duty following his service during the first Persian Gulf War, Dr. Ogden started his private practice forensic engineering firm while attending extensive engineering continuing education classes and training in collision analysis and vehicle dynamics.

Continuing graduate education, Dr. Ogden focused on both Civil and Mechanical Engineering, as well as analyzed thousands of various collision and failure events.  He earned a PhD in Civil/Mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado Denver, developing a generalized, broadly applicable Vehicle Deformation Analysis Method to determine total velocity change.
