Meet The Presenter

Brent DeRose is a Senior Forensic Engineer at Nederveld Inc. and a Licensed Professional Engineer, IIBEC Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), and Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC). His work involves evaluating construction defects, building pathology, and damage caused by a wide range of events such as fires, storms, vehicle impacts, and water loss incidents.

Brent brings a detailed, methodical approach to every evaluation, using his knowledge of building design, construction, materials, and environmental influences to assess roofing systems, window installations, and exterior wall assemblies. His comprehensive skill set allows him to deliver expert opinions on installation deficiencies, storm-related damage, and long-term construction performance issues.
