The Boardwalk at Swing Bridge

Douglas, Michigan

The Boardwalk at Swing Bridge gets its name from an old historic swing bridge that was once located on this site.  The project includes residential waterfront living while incorporating a public boardwalk through a preserved wetland area.  This wetland area will be permanently undeveloped, incorporating a program of native species replanting and providing a boardwalk to allow public access to the wetland habitat and shoreline.  Furthermore the boardwalk will connect existing public spaces currently maintained by the City of the Village of Douglas on either side of the subject property.

Maintaining the character of the Village of Douglas will occur through the use of attractive and compatible Architecture and appropriate landscaping to enhance the neighborhood character of the development.  Living unit sizes range from 1500 sq ft to 2600 sq ft and include two car garages and premium interior appointments.
