Summary

The Midtown Neighborhood Association and the Fulton Street Farmers Market hired Nederveld and Lott3Metz Architecture to lead a visioning process for the local urban farmers market. This process utilized a charrette for the vendors at the farmers market and information from the neighborhood from previous charrettes to create a plan for the future expansion of the Fulton Street Farmers
Market. Plans include expanding the farmers market to include more vendor stalls, interior and exterior stalls, a demonstration kitchen, retail spaces along Fulton Street for market related uses, and a full year market operation. The market expansion will relate directly to the surrounding neighborhood context.
