A master plan for a privately developed 22-acre village center with a compact block structure, connected pedestrian-scaled street network and sustainable infrastructure.  The walkable development merges urban design principles with traditional town planning techniques to create a diverse neighborhood. 

  • Created a series of concepts that incorporated traditional neighborhood design concepts into a master plan for a new village center.

  • Collaborated with developer to integrate mixed-use retail buildings, rowhouses, live-work buildings and single-family homes into a public realm that was composed of parks, plazas and civic art.

  • Assisted the developer and township planning officials to implement a mixed-use development project in a location that was regulated by conventional zoning requirements.

  • Incorporated comprehensive professional services including civil engineering, land surveying and construction staking in the delivery of the project.
