Nederveld Wins 2013 AIA Grand Rapids Honor Award

Nederveld received the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Grand Rapids Honor Award for a Building Project for the Fulton Street Farmers Market with its teammates at Lott3Metz Architecture.

The building award is the most difficult of all of the award categories that the AIA awards.  While this was an honorable mention award (second place), it is still a great accomplishment.

Nederveld architect and urban designer works to reimagine Grand Rapids

Mark Miller is in the business of city building. And he and his associates at Nederveld, Inc. are hoping to continue reimagining the City of Grand Rapids.

While working at Nederveld, Inc. as a senior architect and urban designer, he has worked on many projects that have aided in strengthening the foundation of cities.

New User-Friendly Form Based Code Wins a National Award for the City of Hudsonville

The recently completed City of Hudsonville Downtown Zoning Ordinance was awarded the 2011 Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties.  The project, a collaboration between Ottawa County, the City of Hudsonville and Nederveld is a highly graphic, user-friendly form based code that will assist Hudsonville in implementing a citizen supported suburban retrofit vision for their downtown.
